Petrova/Tikhonov received scrapbook 

We presented Masha and Alexei with the scrapbook before the show on May, 26 in Mytishi. They really appreciated the gift and said "what a nice souvenir!" They looked at each page of the book and wanted to thank everybody who participated.

As their plans for the future were still uncertain at this time, we chose the following text for the introduction:

"Dear Masha and Ljosha! We are expressing our deepest respect for you. Since your very first competition as a couple when you took the international stage, you belong to the top and are remaining at the highest level. You won the European title right away in 1999 and since earned many medals and titles at European, World Championships and at Grand Prix events. Unfortunately, the judges not always judged your performances as they should have, but you earned the love and respect of the audience. We love you and we hope to see you many times on the ice, either in shows or in competition."
